My mom was here visiting for the last two weeks. which was nice because Brandon was gone for most of it and she kept me company. She bought pumpkins for the kids to do and they had a lot of fun. Shad was the worst one about the guts!! haha, the girls were just fine. :)
The kids love having Grandma read them stories. Gracie would bring down a big pile at a time and sit there til she read them all, then go back upstairs for more!
There was a big wolf spider outside our garage yesterday. it was even bigger than this when it was alive and not all shriveled up! yuck! that is a quarter next to it. I dremt of spiders all night last night.
Gracie was eating some jello and along came an ant. she said "mom I'm going to share with the ant" and plopped a spoonful onto the counter. then she said "here you go, little fella, this is for your family!" well, of course the family wasn't far behind after that~lol
our friends gave up their labradoodle because their son is allergic. his name is Teddy and he is still technically a puppy, not yet one. he still likes to chew on things and wrestle with Maggie (our other dog) at first she growled at him when he tried to but now she is like a pup herself. it is like i have 6 kids now. He also loves water since he is part lab, so that doesn't go so well with having a koi pond. i have to watch him the whole time he is out because he has jumped in 4-5 times now. He is a big sweetheart though, and i am learning to read his cues and pick up shoes etc. that i dont want chewed on.
Von loves the dogs, he laughs at them all day, and they are so good with him.

That's sweet of Gracie to worry about the ant's family and friends. too cute. your dogs are beautiful
