4 weeks old!!

Wow! it is hard to believe it has been 4 weeks already! Von is growing and growing. He had his well baby visit yesterday and weighed 11 lb 9 oz! and is 22 inches long. He's a big boy. notice his nice double chin,it's actually a triple chin at the right angle ;o) We love our baby Von!!!!

New Dining Room

I was looking for a before picture, but couldn't find one. anyway, it had ugly pink curtains and blue flowered wallpaper. Mom made the new curtains and we painted red and tan. I haven't put the pictures back on the wall yet. These pictures don't do it justice! i love it! Thanks mom!

More Baby Von

Von is 2 weeks old already! The time is flying by. He is a very good baby and I can't complain. He went to the Dr. yesterday and has regained his birthweight. last week he was 8 14 and yesterday he was 9 lb 10 oz.
It has worked out wonderfully having my Mom here because he was born the night she came!! and this month has been a busy one for Brandon at work. She is helping me keep my sanity. Spring break started today and goes through next week. so I asked her to stay another week since Brandon works all weekend too!! She has a lot of fun things planned. starting with a sleepover in her room last night! The kids are loving having her here. I think Gracie is going to go through withdrawls when she goes. It has been fun to have Grandma hold her and play games and read books while the kids had school.
We are excited to see Brandon's parents next month for Easter and Von's blessing. Brandon has almost the whole week off that they will be here so we hope to have a lot of fun!

Von Greggory Bloxham

the pictures uploaded in the opposite order than I intended. This first one is of Von today. Von was born Friday morning at 2:04 a.m. weighing in at a whopping 9 lb 6 oz. It only took about 4 contractions to push him out, thankfully to my Dr who really knew what he was doing to guide him out. It was the most painful experience of my life! Von is named after Brandon's grandpa Bloxham. His name is Von and Brandon's dad is DeVon so it is after him as well. Greggory is my dad's name so he has a lot of special people he is named for.
Mom came Thursday morning and watched Gracie while i went to my Dr appt at 1:30. The Dr said he would induce me Monday but after he checked me I started having contractions all evening that got stronger and closer together. I went up to the hospital at 10 pm and was dilated to a 5-6. he was born 4 hours later. We came home yesterday(Sunday) It was nice that mom kept the kids and Brandon was able to sleep at the hospital with me. He had the weekend off and started a new rotation today, so the timing was perfect. We are so grateful for Mom and all she has done for us not to mention all the meals and cleaning. She definitely made all the difference.
Von is a sweet baby and eats well and sleeps well. The kids all love him. Gracie has held him a couple times for a few seconds but she says he is too heavy!! I agree! but it is nice to have a healthy big baby. We feel so blessed to have these 4 children and have our family complete.
